Decluttering under my desk
Pegboard mounted under-desk devices
Based on ideas from decluttered.com I made a pegboard mount for some under-desk devices. Mains power goes to a UPS and surge protector. The UPS supplies the computers and monitor directly (monitor via the power strip on the board). The surge-only side supplies the pegboard's power strip, which in turn surge-protects and supplies the speakers, router, and modem.

Before decluttering

I made an attempt to route wires via a hook. It didn't work. Note 2nd computer.

Cut pegboard

Cut to the same height as my desk, because it will go next to the desk and I need to reach some switches

Still a mess of wires

Still a mess of wires, but it could be worse. Both computers are now on the same side and there is no router under the desk. Fewer wires crossing behind desk now.
