Instead of using the supplied decals, I'm going to try masking to get the Rogue Squadron stripes. Here the tape is applied and lines are drawn.

The red area of the stripe will be masked off and the whole thing sprayed with white. When the tape comes off, red stripes should remain behind.

The wings are painted the final white coat. The masking tape is also covered.

The engines were sprayed a metallic silver to give it a steel look. Swanny says I should paint the engine exhausts with Gunze Burnt Iron.
