Satya's blog - Jakob Nielsen talks about IM and email

Jakob Nielsen's article about information overload:

Says email is getting worse and people seem to want to move to instant messaging instead, then shows why IM is not a good choice (email doesn't break the flow of work, being asynchronous), and I agree. This is exactly why I like email.

Mentions a control panel paradigm, which I'd implement as a web-page, or maybe a Gtk app. Must look into it.
